Mrs. Ijeoma Onwukwe is the daughter of Late Sir Innocent and Late Lady Bridget Nwachukwu of Umuokoro Eziama Ntigha, Abia State Nigeria. She is married to Dr. Dominic Onwukwe of Umuerim Avor Ntigha. She currently resides in the US with her husband and children. She is a graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka and Enugu Campuses, University of Maryland, Baltimore and Grand Canyon University USA. She has various work experiences including, co-founder and editor of defunct Market Guide Newspaper, Enugu, Nigeria; Admin Officer in charge of Street Adoption and the Recording Secretary of Umuahia North Local Government Legislative Council, Abia State Nigeria. She loves volunteering with charity organizations. She co-founded Nigeria 2000, an Italy-based organization, devoted to helping underserved Nigerian children in the areas of education, feeding, healthcare and housing in 2000. Under her management, the organization grew from one beneficiary to over 160 beneficiaries within six years. She was able to transition the management of the organization to a group of Catholic reverend missionaries following her migration to the USA. She currently pilots the affairs of InnoBridget Foundation for Widows and Widowers based in Nigeria. Mrs. Onwukwe currently works as a mental health practitioner. She has a passion for advocacy and service. She served as NiNA treasurer from 2020 to 2024. Mrs. Ijeoma believes that Ntigha has personalities and talents that can make a difference in the lives of Ntighans and in the world. She beckons on everyone to join her to create ripples of difference in their environments.
